Get voice chat working with Simple Voice Chat. Download the client mod or find server-side instructions below.

Quick install

Client & Server

1. Click the Download button to open the Simple Voice Chat Mod page on Modrinth. Choose the version matching your Minecraft client. 2. For servers: follow the plugin or mod installation instructions on the Modrinth page (paper/fabric support varies). 3. Restart your client/server and join Aloria. Voice chat should connect automatically when near other players.

Troubleshooting

Common fixes

I can't hear anyone

Check that your output device is selected in your system settings, then rejoin the server. Also confirm the in-game voice volume isn't muted.

My mic isn't detected

Verify your input device is selected in your OS sound settings. Restart Minecraft after switching devices.

Voice chat connects, but no sound

Make sure the mod version matches your Minecraft version and that you don't have conflicting audio mods installed.

Audio sounds choppy or delayed

Try closing bandwidth-heavy apps and rejoining. Also make sure your network is stable and you aren't on a VPN.
